Friday (Nov 28th, 2025) marked as one of historical date for BeanDaru in global market, because our first green coffee beans finally shipped to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The shipment was made to fulfill request of Dubai retail chain that target young generations and specialty market. Dubai itself is Middle East’s central city for commerce and modern life style. There has been increasing demand of premium coffee beans (+12% Year-on-Year) in Dubai, especially within young professionals, supported by on-going trend of cafe culture. The products expected to arrive in Jebel Ali Port (Dubai, UAE) by this Thursday (Dec 4th, 2025).

To ensure product availability, quality, and sustainability, we sourced the green coffee beans (Robusta variety) from plantations of reliable supplier, namely Coffee Farmer Cooperative from Magelang Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia. Green coffee beans is dried raw coffee seeds that has been separated from the coffee fruit and has not been roasted. Robusta coffee has been long known for its strong and earthy taste.

We cooperated with them to dried, graded, and packed the green coffee beans so we could ship 17 Metric Tons (MT) of Robusta coffee beans (Grade 1) in 50Kg sack. The process was indeed smooth within 2 months preparation. It is part of BeanDaru’s commitment in green footprint and ethical farming, by cooperating with reliable local farmers.

Turned out, the shipment was also Magelang Regency’s first green coffee beans export to global market. With good relationship from reliable suppliers (plantations and farmers), supported with proven good quality products and reasonable price, BeanDaru will continue to export local taste (coffee beans and other products as well) to global market.
